This is an example nameplate this iron might have produced.
The face of the brand as transposed by a mirror. When looking straight on at the brand as in this view, the lettering is inverted so that when pressed into the wood it is transposed.
Full length of the brand from face to end of rounded handle is 21 1\2 inches.
This is a non-transposed view of the face, showing the actual inverted lettering. It is also a good view of the depth of the metal lettering on the face.
