St * r * * v * nt   GENETIC  Project

The Envelope Please ...

We will publish the results here. If you follow the tutorials you will see that the individual results will come in a tabular form. A row of numbers.

We will publish these numbers here, along with a description of their place in the line. What is thought before the test, and what these numbers say (if anything) after the test.

See what we are talking about here. You can hold your mouse over the link to see the diagram and a description. This diagram and description will remain on the screen, until, you Click, or MouseOver, the "Close ..." to move on. Of course, you can click on the link to go to a separate page. Then just hit Back to return to this page. The link will not take you off - site.

Sample Individual Result from DNA Heritage.

As you can see, these results by themselves are not terribly enlightening. They must be compared with others.

Cousins and Connections

The project results will be published as a diagram, grouping identical results in circles, and other circles representing branches with only one or two different numbers out of the 12, 25, or now 37 markers available for test.

Again, here is a sample group result. You can hold your mouse over the link to see the diagram and a description. Click, or mouseover, the "Close ..." to move on. Of course, you can click on the link to go to a separate page. Then just hit Back to return to this page. This link will not take you off site.

Sample Individual Result from DNA Heritage's Oracle.

This is a 21 marker result from DNA Heritage. The markers are displayed across the top. The number of repeats, under each marker. Match all 21 of these markers, have a close common ancestor. Match 20 of these 21, then the common ancestor further back. Match 18, or less, of these markers, most likely unrelated.
