What do we want to know, that the St*r**v*nt DNA Project, can help us find out. Please let us know.

St * r * * v * nt   GENETIC  Project

Objectives of the Project

We want to fill in the blanks; and if not get through a brick wall at least find which direction to go to get around it.

Our first objective is a Surname Project to model the line of each family group of:

Samuel Sturtevant of Massachussets

John Sturdivant of Virginia

John Sturdevant of Connecticut

This would be done through the testing of at least 2 male descendants possessing one of those spellings and corresponding y-chromosome.

Ideally, we would have at least 2 from each of 3 family groups, for a total of 6 and we would qualify for the project discount.

Other Possible Objectives

Gary Sturdevant, a frequent contributor and active member of the group at Yahoo, has provided these possible objectives. But Please, If you have a particular brick wall, or just dont know which way to proceed in your research, submit your objective.
