We have predicted haplogroup designation of R1b for all DI and TE/TI. We have an actual haplogroup designation of R1a1 for E1, who carries the StArdevant spelling. E1’s surname list goes only back to 1804.

We have called for some volunteers for SNP testing to confirm and refine Haplogroup designations. We have noted the SNP result for E1, a member of the R1a1 Haplogroup, who carries the StArdevant spelling variant. We note also that we are expecting a DI spelling SNP test result soon.
